Please note we expect to be interviewing in early March for the 2026 season. Our weddings pick up to 3-4 per weekend beginning May of 2026. That is when wedding season begins at The Cottage Farmhouse.

Weekend Positions Available / Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • We’re seeking long-term team members who want to work 2-4 shifts per month, and sometimes a bit more August, September and October.

  • This is a great opportunity for additional income that works around your schedule. Many of our weekend team members have a full-time job – we are happy to work around your availability as long as we know it in advance.

  • Must be 18+, able to lift 50 pounds, and comfortable working on your feet

 Please DO NOT Apply If:

  • You do not have regular availability on the weekends. That’s when weddings happen!

  • You love the idea of the pretty side of weddings (decorating/fluffing dresses etc.). While that happens on occasion by our team, you should know that these roles help wedding days run functionally. That means taking out the trash, assisting guests and vendors, flipping the venue, etc.

  • You’re a glass half empty kind of person. That’s not our vibe.

  • Have frequent situations that would mean your schedule changes, or you wouldn’t be available for a scheduled shift at the last minute. We understand emergencies happen, but we depend on each team member and being reliable is critical.

  • You find yourself in the middle of gossip, drama, or get worked up easily. That doesn’t work on the team or on wedding days.

  • You are not regularly available in our peak/busy season which is May through October. We can work around schedules, but we need the most help during these times of year.

Compensation Details:

 We have 4 different shifts on the team which would be described in an interview (brief descriptions below). Shifts range from $80 to $275 per shift with no responsibilities before or after the event.

1. Venue Manager (Evening Shift: 6 PM - 1 AM or 5 PM - 12 AM)

As our Venue Manager, you are the main overseer of the venue, ensuring each event runs seamlessly. This role includes managing event operations, enforcing venue policies, leading set-up and tear-down efforts, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

2. Opening Shift Team Member (Morning Shift: 8 AM - 12 PM)

Start the day by ensuring the outdoor spaces are wedding-ready, then welcome the bridal party and help set the stage for a great celebration! This role involves opening the property, overseeing decorating and morning preparations, and making sure everything is “wedding-day ready” before guests arrive.

3. PM Shift Team Member (Cleaning & Set-up: 8 PM - 12 AM or 9 PM-1 AM)

Be part of the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our venue running smoothly! The PM Shift Team ensures cleanliness during and after events, and resets the spaces for the next celebration.

4. Late-Night Set-Up Team Member (Set-up: 11 PM – 1 AM or 10PM-12AM)

Be part of the muscle behind the magic! This shift is all about preparing the venue for the next celebration. You’ll assist with resetting spaces after a wedding and setting up for upcoming events by placing tables and chairs, organizing layouts, and making sure everything is exactly where it needs to be.

This role is active, hands-on, and essential to keeping our wedding weekends running smoothly.
